Quattro gruppi terroristici potrebbero essere dietro l'attacco ad Ankara

Il PM turco Davuto?lu dichiara tre giorni di lutto nazionale dopo l’attentato suicida di Ankara, in una manifestazione per la pace.

Il primo ministro turco Ahmet Davuto?lu ha dichiarato tre giorni di lutto nazionale dopo l’attentato dinamitardo del 10 ottobre ad una manifestazione per la pace, anche individuando quattro organizzazioni fuorilegge come possibili sospettati per la più grande tragedia del terrore mai avvenuta nel paese.

"Le organizzazioni che possiedono una tale capacità sono evidenti", ha detto il primo ministro nel corso di una conferenza stampa ad Ankara in serata. Egli ha nominato queste organizzazioni come lo Stato Islamico dell'Iraq e il Levante (ISIL), il Partito dei lavoratori del Kurdistan (PKK), insieme a due organizzazioni di sinistra, vale a dire, il Partito del Fronte popolare rivoluzionario di liberazione (DHKP-C) e il Partito comunista marxista-leninista (MLKP).

Anche se l'identità dei colpevoli rimane sconosciuta, Davutoglu ha detto che ci sono "evidenze molto forti che le esplosioni di Ankara siano state effettuate da due attentatori suicidi".

Il primo ministro ha anche detto di voler consultare due partiti sulla questione, il Partito Repubblicano del Popolo (CHP) che è la principale opposizione e il Partito del Movimento Nazionalista (MHP), ma ha escluso qualsiasi contatto con il Partito Democratico Popolare (HDP) dopo le dichiarazioni del co-presidente del partito Selahattin Demirta?, che ha accusato il governo per l'attacco.

"La coscienza e la mente di Demirta? erano incapucciati. Io sono qui, se qualcuno vuole chiedermi conto … Questo attacco non ha preso di mira un singolo gruppo, o i cittadini che si sono riuniti per la manifestazione o una comunità politica, ma tutta la nostra gente nel suo insieme", ha detto il primo ministro Davutoglu. "Mentre stiamo andando verso le elezioni che si terranno il 1° novembre ... tale attacco ha preso di mira direttamente la democrazia e i diritti e le libertà democratiche", ha aggiunto.

"Oggi è il giorno per essere solidali spalla a spalla". Ha detto Davuto?lu che il necessario sarebbe stato fatto contro chiunque sia responsabile per questo insidioso massacro, chiamando gli autori "nemici dell'umanità". "Un terrorista è un terrorista. Chi ha effettuato un atto di terrorismo ha commesso un crimine contro l'umanità … Stiamo affrontando uno degli atti di terrorismo più dolorosi nella storia della nostra repubblica", ha aggiunto.

Alla domanda se ci fosse stato un intervallo di sicurezza, Davutoglu ha detto che i due attentatori suicidi erano già stati catturati di recente a Istanbul e Ankara prima dell'ultimo attacco. Ha detto che sarebbero state prese le misure necessarie se fosse avvenuta alcuna negligenza.

Il governo ha imposto il silenzio stampa provvisorio dopo le due esplosioni. Un portavoce del governo ha detto che "sono state censurate le immagini che mostrano il momento dello scoppio, immagini raccapriccianti o sanguinose, immagini che creano una sensazione di panico."

Ha avvertito le organizzazioni dei media avrebbero potuto affrontare una censura completa se non si fossero conformati.

Four terror groups may be behind Ankara attack: Turkish PM

Turkish PM Davuto?lu declares three-day national mourning after the Ankara twin bombing, a possible suicide attack, on a peace rally

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu declared a three-day national mourning after the Oct. 10 twin bomb attack on a peace rally in Ankara, also singling out four outlawed organizations as possible suspects of the country’s largest terror tragedy ever. 

“The organizations that possess such a capacity are obvious,” the Prime Minister said during a press meeting in Ankara in the evening. 

The prime minister named these organizations as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), along with two “leftist” organizations, namely, the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) and the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP).

Although the identity of the culprits remains unknown, Davuto?lu said there are "very strong signs" the Ankara blasts were carried out by two suicide bombers.

The prime minister said he wants to consult two parties, the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) on the issue, but he ruled out any contacts with the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) after the Kurdish-issue focused party’s co-chair Selahattin Demirta?’s statement that slammed the government for the attack. 

"Demirta?'s conscience and mind were handcuffed. I am here if anyone asks for an account," the prime minister said. 

"This attack has targeted not a single group, citizens who joined the rally or a political community but targeted our people as a whole," Davuto?lu said.

"While we are heading toward elections [on Nov. 1]... such an attack has directly taken aim at democracy and democratic rights and freedoms," he added.

The MHP has rejected the PM's offer but Davuto?lu and CHP leader Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu are expected to meet on Oct. 11. 

"Today is the day to be in solidarity shoulder-to-shoulder."

Davuto?lu said the necessary would be done against whoever carried out "this treacherous massacre," branding the perpetrators "enemies of humanity."   

"A terrorist is a terrorist. Whoever carried out an act of terror has committed a crime against humanity," he said.     

"We are encountering one of the most painful acts of terrorism in our republic's history," he added.  

Asked whether there had been a security lapse, Davuto?lu said two suicide bombers had been caught in Istanbul and in Ankara ahead of the latest attack. He said necessary measures would be taken if any negligence had occurred. The prime minister said two potential suicide bomber were caught in Ankara and Istanbul recently. 

The government says it has imposed a temporary news blackout following the two blasts.

A government spokesman said the blackout covered images showing the moment of the blast, gruesome or bloody images or "images that create a feeling of panic."

He warned media organizations they could face a "full blackout" if they did not comply.
