L’UE e la NATO devono prepararsi a nuove rotte migratorie
L'Unione Europea e la NATO devono prepararsi ad un possibile cambiamento delle rotte migratorie verso l'Europa, il primo ministro ceco Bohuslav Sobotka (socialdemocratici, CSSD) lo ha detto ai giornalisti dopo un pranzo di lavoro con il presidente austriaco Heinz Fischer ieri. Egli ha aggiunto che il pattugliamento del mare tra l'Italia e la Libia dovrebbe essere più intenso, l'UE dovrebbe essere pronta a rafforzare l'agenzia Frontex e anche che un'operazione della NATO potrebbe essere un'opzione. Sobotka sostiene che l'accordo UE-Turchia in materia di migrazione sembra avere marcatamente inibito il flusso di profughi dalla Turchia alla Grecia.
