Washington non permetterà il riavvicinamento tra Russia e Germania
Washington sta monitorando da vicino le relazioni tra Russia e Germania e farà di tutto per impedire l'unione tra i due paesi, lo ha dichiarato George Friedman, fondatore della società d’intelligence globale Stratfor.
Secondo Friedman, la formazione di un partenariato tra Russia e Germania potrebbe dare un impulso al rafforzamento di entrambi i paesi.

Washington is closely monitoring the relations between Russia and Germany and will do anything to prevent the union between the two countries, founder of the global intelligence company Stratfor, George Friedman, said.
According to Friedman, the formation of a partnership between Russia and Germany could give an impetus to the strengthening of both countries.
However, such a development would pose a threat to US interests, Friedman said in an interview with German newspaper Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (DWN). In Friedman's opinion, Germany is currently under enormous pressure and is very vulnerable politically and economically. "Europe is in a process of institutional disintegration," the expert said. "Each state is trying to go its own way." According to Friedman, Germany is highly dependent on its export markets and therefore needs cooperation with other countries. However, the choice of partners for the German government is quite limited. Rapprochement with Russia would be particularly favorable for Germany in all respects, but it would cause great resentment from the United States, Friedman argued.
According to the analyst, Washington will do anything to prevent the improvement of relations between the two countries. Moreover, there are countries which are not interested in cooperation between Moscow and Berlin, such as Poland and France. "It is not just the United States that wants to prevent an alliance between Germany and Russia. There is not a single country in Europe that would support such an alliance. Poland and France are for example vehement opponents of such a union. An alliance between Germany and Russia would lead to fear and terror in Europe," the expert concluded.
