Diverse fazioni si uniscono all’ISIL in Siria

Diverse fazioni militanti affiliate a gruppi ribelli moderati hanno giurato fedeltà ai terroristi Takfiri di ISIL.

I rapporti dicono che centinaia di militanti stranieri tra cui una brigata forte di un migliaio di uomini, del cosiddetto Esercito Sham hanno disertato per unirsi ad ISIL nei giorni scorsi.

I disertori hanno viaggiato dalla loro base nella provincia siriana nord-occidentale di Idlib fino alla roccaforte di Raqqa, dove sono arrivati lo scorso fine settimana.

Inoltre, diverse brigate affiliate con l’Esercito Libero Siriano sponsorizzato dall’occidente hanno giurato fedeltà all’ISIL nella parte orientale del paese.

Le defezioni sollevano interrogativi circa il sostegno militare degli Stati Uniti per i gruppi che si classificano come militanti moderati.

L'8 luglio, il quotidiano saudita Akkaz ha confermato in un rapporto che i militanti stranieri hanno ricevuto il secondo lotto di missili anticarro made in Usa.

I militanti Takfiri hanno riferito di aver ricevuto razzi anticarro TOW nella regione strategica di Qalamoun.

Il mese scorso, la Casa Bianca ha chiesto al Congresso mezzo miliardo di dollari in aiuti per i militanti che operano contro le truppe governative in Siria.

Militanti anti-regime hanno spesso invitato l'Occidente a fornire loro armi più sofisticate e supporto militare.

Gli Stati Uniti hanno anche annunciato che avrebbero armato e sostenuto quello che definiscono "l'opposizione moderata" in Siria.

Several militant factions join ISIL in Syria

Islam Times - Several militant factions affiliated with what the West calls moderate rebel groups have pledged allegiance to ISIL Takfiri terrorists.

Reports say hundreds of foreign-backed militants including a 1000-strong brigade from the so-called Sham Army have defected to the notorious group in recent days.

The defectors travelled from their base in the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib to the ISIL stronghold city of Raqqa last weekend.

In addition, several brigades affiliated with the Western-sponsored Free Syrian Army have pledged allegiance to ISIL in the east of the country.

The defections raise questions about the US military support for groups it classifies as moderate militants.

On July 8, the Saudi daily Akkaz confirmed in a report that the foreign-backed militants have received the second batch of US-made anti-tank missiles.

The Takfiri militants have reportedly received TOW anti-tank rockets in the strategic Qalamoun region.

Last month, the White House asked Congress for half a billion dollars in aid for militants operating against government troops in Syria.

Anti-Syria militants have frequently called on the West to provide them with sophisticated weaponry and more military support.

The United States has also announced that it would arm and support what it calls “the moderate opposition” in Syria.

The ISIL militancy has also spilled over to Iraq where the Takfiri militants have overrun large swathes, committing acts of terror including killing and rape.

Syria has been gripped by turmoil since March 2011. Over 160,000 people have reportedly been killed and millions of others displaced due to the crisis fueled by the Western-backed militants.
