Ghannouchi: i governi arabi hanno finanziato l’agressione israeliana su Gaza

Venerdì il Presidente tunisino Nahda Movimento Rashid Al-Ghannouchi ha detto in un discorso, che l'assalto israeliano sui Gaza, espone paesi, partiti e organizzazioni complici dell'aggressione a causa del loro silenzio.

Ha accusato i paesi arabi, senza fare nomi, di finanziare l'assalto israeliano. Egli ha anche accusato le Nazioni Unite di fallimento nel difendere i diritti umani che vengono violati a Gaza.

"Non c'è spazio per la neutralità in questa guerra. O si sostiene la giustizia, o la tirannia e l'occupazione", ha detto.

Ghannouchi ha fatto riferimento ai sondaggi di opinione condotti nei paesi occidentali, che sottolineano che la maggioranza dei giovani del mondo, sostiene la causa palestinese.

"La macchina mediatica sionista non è riuscita a mobilitare l'opinione pubblica internazionale a suo favore. Proteste scoppiano in tutto il mondo per sostenere Gaza contro il terrorismo perpetrato da Israele", ha aggiunto.

Ghannouchi ha sostenuto che il successo della resistenza a Gaza è parte di una serie di successi nel contrastare i colpi inferti contro la Primavera Araba.

"Il colpo di stato in Egitto era destinato a estendersi a tutta la regione della primavera araba che ha scelto un percorso democratico. Ma il dialogo nazionale in Tunisia ha interrotto questo tentativo di stroncare le rivoluzioni sul ​​nascere. Poi le elezioni turche sono il secondo episodio di questa serie, mentre il successo della resistenza a Gaza è il terzo."

"La guerra a Gaza ha dimostrato che la volontà dell'essere umano è più forte di tutte le tecnologie e le armi letali", ha detto, aggiungendo: "Le case demolite sulla testa dei loro residenti non hanno rotto la volontà del popolo palestinese"

Ghannouchi: Arab governments fund Israeli assaults on Gaza

President of the Tunisian Nahda Movement Rashid Al-Ghannouchi said in a Friday sermon yesterday that the Israeli assault on Gaza exposed countries, parties, and organisations which were complicit in the aggression because of their silence.

He accused Arab countries, which he did not name, of funding the Israeli onslaught. He also accused the United Nations of "failure" to defend human rights which are being violated in Gaza.

"There is no room for neutrality in this war. You either support justice, or tyranny and occupation," he said.

Ghannouchi referred to public opinion polls conducted in Western countries, pointing out that the majority of the world's youth support the Palestinian cause.

"The Zionist media machine has not succeeded in mobilising international public opinion in its favour. Protests erupted everywhere in the world to support Gaza against the terrorism perpetrated by Israel," he added.

Ghannouchi argued that the success of the resistance in Gaza is part of a series of successes in countering coups against the Arab Spring.

"The coup in Egypt was intended to extend to the entire Arab Spring region which chose a democratic path. But the national dialogue in Tunisia has aborted this attempt to nip the revolutions in the bud. Then Turkish elections came as the second episode in this series, while the success of the resistance in Gaza is the third."

"The war on Gaza proved that the will of the human being is stronger than all technologies and lethal weapons," he said, adding: "The homes demolished on their residents' heads have not broken the will of the Palestinian people."
