Dichiarazione letta da Abu Ubaydah, portavoce di Al-Qassam, l'ala militare di Hamas

O figli della nostra lotta e della gente risoluta! O la nostra Ummah e il mondo intero! Il nemico ha mentito e tradito. Il tradimento e l'inganno sono tratti di cui il nemico è composto. Ieri, il nemico ha violato il cessate il fuoco e ha perpetrato un crimine oltraggioso per mezzo di una serie di incursioni e operazioni di bombardamento selvaggio. La più significativo di tali operazioni è stato il bombardamento della casa della famiglia al-Dalu nel quartiere Shaikh Radwan, utilizzando una serie di razzi di malizia e inganno. I leader del nemico stavano aspettando con impazienza dietro le loro scrivanie e di fronte a schermi televisivi, mentre le loro agenzie di intelligence insinuavano loro che il momento di festa si avvicinava.

Prima di tutto, vorremmo dire al nemico che avete fallito e così anche il vostro piano. Di volta in volta si sta dimostrando di essere un mucchio di fallimenti. Quarantacinque giorni dall'inizio della battaglia, nonostante tutte le attività di raccolta d’informazioni, tutto quello che avete saputo fare è uccidere donne e bambini. Non avete avuto successo, incapaci di raggiungere il nostro Comandante in Capo, Abu Khalid Muhammad Al-Daif, per volontà di Dio. Abu Khalid è responsabile, da oltre un quarto di secolo di rendere il vostro fallimento e le incapacità, chiare come il sole di mezzogiorno. Abu Khalid Al-Daif è colui che ha iniziato a lavorare fin dall'inizio della prima rivolta ed è stato sulla vostra lista dei ricercati per 25 anni. Ha continuato a testimoniare la vostra incapacità e il vostro fallimento, nonché il fatto che non siete altro che una grande menzogna.

Abu Khalid Al-Daif, o qualsiasi altro leader della resistenza, era forse presente all'interno della casa della famiglia Al-Lawh oggi, o al negozio di alimentari di Al-Zeitoun District? Abu Khalid è colui che ha iniziato tirando pietre, poi è passato al fucile, poi alle operazioni di martirio, tutta la strada fino a quando i razzi delle Brigate, sotto il suo comando, hanno coperto tutte le aree della nostra amato patria usurpata. Questi razzi vi hanno costretto a correre ai ripari come topi terrorizzati. Al-Qassam vi promette che Muhammad Al-Daif sarà, a Dio piacendo, il comandante in capo dell’esercito di conquista e liberazione che entrerà nei cortili di Al-Aqsa fino a non purificheremo tutta la nostra terra dalla sporcizia degli occupanti rimasti.

Sia noto agli occupanti che Abu Khalid Muhammad Al-Daif, e dietro di lui le Brigate Al-Qassam e tutti i gruppi della resistenza, sono il destino di Dio contro di voi, perché Dio ha li ha presi su di Sé per inviarli contro di voi, fino al Giorno del Giudizio, quando vi colpirà con una punizione più grave.

O la nostra gente! O la nostra Ummah e il mondo intero! Questo reato è venuto ieri in mezzo alle pretese del nemico sul lancio di razzi nel tentativo di giustificare la sua aggressione e violazione del cessate il fuoco, pensando di essere in grado di fare una caccia significativo che gli consenta di rivendicare la vittoria e decidere il modo in cui la battaglia giunge al termine. Nel frattempo era in corso, la danza dei demoni, o le cosiddette trattative del Cairo. Abbiamo fin dal primo momento reso chiara la nostra posizione, per quanto riguarda questi negoziati. Sapevamo in anticipo che non si sarebbe raggiunta una delle aspirazioni del nostro popolo o ciò che è commisurato ai loro sacrifici. Nonostante ciò, abbiamo dato ai leader politici del movimento e del nostro popolo più tempo di quanto fosse necessario al fine di cercare di raggiungere un accordo che fermare l'aggressione, togliere l'assedio e portare la ricostruzione.

A seguito di queste lunghe settimane di inutili trattative, e all'indomani dei crimini perpetrati dal nemico, con la presente diciamo che questa iniziativa era nato morta e oggi è stato sepolta insieme al corpo del martire bambino Ali Muhammad Al-Daif. Pertanto, la delegazione palestinese deve ritirarsi immediatamente dal Cairo e non ritornarci. Non ci sarà nessun ritorno a questo percorso, dopo questa giornata. Qualsiasi dinamica lungo il percorso non ci obbliga in alcun modo. Vorremmo sottolineare che il nemico ha sprecato un'occasione d'oro per raggiungere un accordo di cessate il fuoco in cambio di richieste, la più alta delle quali era molto inferiore a alle richieste che incontrerete sulla scia dei vostri crimini e fallimenti.

All'ombra dei crimini perpetrati dal nemico, e dopo aver portato i negoziati oltre il tempo necessario, e nonostante il fallimento degli strumenti e delle truppe nemiche di assassinare il comandante in capo delle Brigate Ezzedine al-Qassam, dichiariamo ciò che segue:

1 Mettiamo in guardia le compagnie aeree internazionali che volano a Ben-Gurion. Dovrebbero smettere i loro voli da e per l’aeroporto di Tel Aviv, dalle sei del mattino di Giovedi, 21 August il 2014.

2. Tutte le grandi manifestazioni dei sostenitori del nemico sono vietate in tutti i settori che rientrano nel raggio dei razzi Al-Qassam. Ciò vale in particolare per le folle alle partite di calcio così come per quelle in altre aree aperte.

3 Gli abitanti di quello che viene chiamato il cerchio di Gaza e le città vicine non devono tornare alle loro case. Quelli di loro che rimangono per necessità devono rimanere all'interno di rifugi e luoghi protetti.

4 Tutto ciò rimane in vigore fino a nuovo avviso ufficiale, rilasciato dal comandante in capo delle Brigate Ezzedine al-Qassam. Che tutti siano avvertiti di non prestare attenzione alle dichiarazioni e promesse fatte dai leader del nemico, perché hanno dimostrato di essere irresponsabili e sconsiderati per quanto riguarda la sicurezza personale del loro popolo.

5 Gli occupanti, e il mondo intero, dovrebbero comprendere la verità su ciò che la nostra gente domanda. Tutto quello che cerchiamo è che l'occupazione ci lasci in pace e smetta di controllare il nostro cibo, il latte dei nostri figli e il nostro carburante. Tuttavia, gli occupanti insistono a tenerci al guinzaglio, ci soffocano e ci permettono di respirare solo quando vogliono e solo tanto quanto vogliono. Agli occupanti non sarà concesso di continuare a farlo dopo questa giornata, a Dio piacendo.

Questa è una lotta che conduce alla vittoria o al martirio.

Statement read by Abu Ubaydah, spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, the Hamas military wing

O children of our struggling and steadfast people! O our Ummah and the entire world! The enemy has lied and betrayed you. Betrayal and deceit are traits that the enemy is made of. Yesterday, the enemy violated the ceasefire and perpetrated an outrageous crime by means of a series of raids and savage bombardment operations. The most significant of those operations was the bombing of the Al-Dalu family home in Shaikh Radwan district using a number of the rockets of malice and deceit. The enemy's leaders were waiting eagerly behind their desks and in front of TV screens while their intelligence agencies insinuated to them that the moment for celebration was drawing near.

First of all, we would like to say to the enemy that you have failed and so has your plan. Time after time you are proving to be a group of failures. Forty-five days since the start of the battle, despite all your intelligence gathering activity, all you have been able to do is kill women and children. You have been unsuccessful and incapable of reaching our Commander in Chief, Abu Khalid Muhammad Al-Daif, by the will of God. Abu Khalid has been responsible for over a quarter of a century for making your failure and incapacity as clear as the midday sun. Abu Khalid Al-Daif is the one who started working right from the beginning of the first uprising and has been on your wanted list for 25 years. He continued to witness your incapacity and failure as well as the fact that you're nothing but a big lie.

Was Abu Khalid Al-Daif, or any other resistance leader, present inside the Al-Lawh family home today, or at the Al-Zeitoun District grocery shop? Abu Khalid is the one who started with stone [-throwing], then he moved to the rifle, then to the martyrdom operations all the way until the Brigades' rockets under his command covered all areas in our beloved usurped homeland. These rockets have forced you to rush like terrified mice to the shelters. Al-Qassam Brigades promise you that Muhammad Al-Daif will, God-willing, be the commander in chief of the conquering and liberating army that will enter into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque until we cleanse all of our land of the filth of the remaining occupiers.

Let it be known to the occupiers that Abu Khalid Muhammad Al-Daif, and behind him the Al-Qassam Brigades and all the resistance groups, happen to be God's destiny against you, for God took it upon Himself to send against you, until the Day of Judgement, those who would afflict you with grievous punishment.

O our people! O our Ummah and the entire world! This crime comes amid claims by the enemy about the firing of rockets yesterday in a bid to justify its aggression and violation of the ceasefire, thinking that it was able to make a significant hunt that would enable it to claim victory and decide the way the battle comes to an end. In the meantime, the dance of the demons, or the so-called Cairo negotiations, was going on. We have from the first moment made our position clear regarding these negotiations. We knew beforehand that they were not going to achieve any of the aspirations of our people or achieve what is commensurate with their sacrifices. Despite that, we gave the political leaders of the movement and our people more time than was needed in order to try and reach an agreement that would stop the aggression, lift the siege and bring about reconstruction.

Following these long weeks of futile negotiations, and in the aftermath of the crimes perpetrated by the enemy, we hereby say that this initiative was stillborn and today it was buried together with the body of child martyr Ali Muhammad Al-Daif. Therefore, the Palestinian delegation should withdraw immediately from Cairo and not return. There will be no return to this route after this day. Any dynamic along this route does not oblige us in any way. We would like to stress that the enemy has wasted a golden opportunity to reach a ceasefire agreement in exchange for demands the ceiling of which was much lower than that of the demands it will have to meet in the wake of its crimes and failures.

In the shadow of the crimes perpetrated by the enemy, and after having given the negotiations more than the time needed, and despite the failure of the enemy's instruments and troops in assassinating the commander in chief of the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, we hereby declare the following:

1.            We warn international airlines against flying to Ben-Gurion Airport. They should stop their flights to and from it as of six o'clock in the morning of Thursday, 21 August 2014.

2.            All big rallies by the enemy's supporters are banned in all the areas that fall within the range of Al-Qassam rockets. This applies in particular to football crowds as well as those in other open areas.

3.            The inhabitants of what is called the Gaza rim and the towns close by should not return to their homes. Those of them who stay out of necessity should remain inside shelters and protected places.

4.            All the above remain effective until a further official notice is issued by the commander in chief of the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades. Let all be warned not to heed the statements and promises made by the enemy's leaders, for they have proven to be irresponsible and inconsiderate regarding the personal safety of their public.

5.            The occupiers, and the entire world, should comprehend the truth about what our people are demanding. All we seek is for the occupation to leave us alone and stop controlling our food, the milk of our children and our fuel. However, the occupiers insist on keeping us on a leash, suffocating us or allowing us to breathe when they will and only as much as they will. The occupiers will not be allowed to continue to do so after this day, God-willing.

This is a struggle that leads to victory or martyrdom.
