Control Arms Il trattato sul commercio delle armi (ATT) è sul punto di realizzare una tappa importante. Domani, la 50a ratifica del trattato sarà depositata presso le Nazioni Unite e il traguardo della gara al 50° sarà attraversato. La ratifica critica farà finalmente scattare l'entrata in vigore del Trattato che renderà la legge ATT internazionale. Questa legge è ciò che abbiamo sostenuto per oltre un decennio. Tomorrow, the 50th ratification of the treaty will be deposited at the United Nations and the finish line of the Race to 50 will be crossed. That critical ratification will finally trigger the treaty’s entry into force which will make the ATT international law. This law is what we’ve campaigned for, for over a decade. The ATT can protect human rights, keep weapons out of the hands of genocidal dictators, and stop fueling wars. This law can save lives. It’s a big deal.
