I Tibetani distruggono gli stand dove vengono erette le bandiere cinesi

I tibetani hanno distrutto gli stand eretti per issare le bandiere cinesi come parte di una campagna di crescente opposizione alle esposizioni forzate di fedeltà allo stato. Le autorità cinesi avevano istituito degli stand dove venivano distribuite le bandiere nei centri comunitari di nuova costruzione in diversi villaggi della contea di Kardze, ma i tibetani li hanno ripetutamente demoliti. In alcuni villaggi della borgata di Tunggo, gli stand di bandiera sono stati demoliti due o tre volte dopo che il personale del governo cinese è venuto a ricostruirli per sostenere la campagna di esposizione forzata di fedeltà allo Stato cinese e al Partito Comunista Cinese.

I tibetani locali sono stati costretti a guardare gli stand delle bandiere e a firmare documenti che garantiscono la sicurezza delle strutture.

Tibetans destroy flagpole stands

Tibetans have destroyed flagpole stands erected to hoist Chinese flags as part of a growing campaign opposing forced displays of loyalty to the Chinese state.The Chinese authorities had set up the flag stands in newly built community halls in several villages in Kardze county but the Tibetans have repeatedly demolished them.In some villages in Tunggo township, the flag stands were demolished two or three times after Chinese government personnel came and rebuilt them to press a campaign of forced displays of loyalty to the Chinese state and the ruling Chinese Communist Party.

The local villages were forced to watch over the flags stands and sign documents assuring the safety of the structures.
