Dozens of citizens and international activists suffered from tear gas in Bil'in weekly march 21 sept 2012. On this Friday, dozens of protesters suffocated after inhaling tear gas in Bil'in weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bil'in. A British parliamentary delegation participated in the march along with the people of Bil'in , dozens of Israeli and foreign peace activists. The march began after Friday prayers from the center of the village toward the wall. The participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for resisting the occupation , demolition of the apartheid wall , the liberation of prisoners. And also they called on Palestinian to remain faithful of Palestinian constants. Upon the arrival of the participants to Abu Lemon area adjacent to the wall, they were able to cut some parts of the barbed wire adjacent to the wall, then Israeli soldiers Who were situated behind the wall fired tear gas , sound bombs , lead rubber-coated metal at the demonstrators and also they sprayed wastewater mixed with chemicals, which led to the suffocation of dozens from tear gas, all the cases were treated in the field by ambulance crews. Meanwhile, clashes broke out between the youths and Israeli soldiers who chased youths within the fields in an attempt to arrest them. On the other hand, a British parliament delegation visited Bil'in today and was at the head of the delegation, Mr. John Mauldin from the British Labour Party and the former head of the Labour Party Mr. Martin Linton in addition to some of current members from the British Labour Party .They participated the march in solidarity with people of Bil'in, also they heard during the march to an explaining detailed from the popular Committee about the abuses practiced by the occupation against the people of Bil'in during the past seven years until this moment.
