Ongoing resistance in Bil'in
In the first day of Ramadan, dozens of cases of suffocation in the weekly march in Bil'in
Despite the intense heat and the first fasting day of Ramadan , dozens of cases of choking gas were observed in Bil'in weekly march organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and settlements in Bil'in. The march began from the center of the village towards the liberated land adjacent to the separation wall. The march included participation of a Norwegian delegation in addition to the people from Bil'in , Israeli and foreigner peace activists. Participants raised Palestinian flags , and they chanted slogans calling for the demolition of the wall, the ending of the occupation and the liberation of Palestinian prisoners. Upon the arrival of participants to Abu Laimon area, the Israeli occupation soldiers situated behind the concrete wall started shooting dense tear gas and sprayed skunk water mixed with chemicals toward demonstrators, which led to the suffering of dozens from inhaling the gas, all of them were treated on the field.
