The PA didn't present a formal appeal for the Goldstone Report to the UN, delaying it to the next January, while they present a more generalist document of condemnation. This choice solicited Omar Barghouti to accuse of treachery the PA together with the denouncement they are not anymore the legal representatives of the Palestinian people. Within the accusation to be economically engaged with the Israeli business, especially about the creation of a second network for mobile telephones, (very urgent and needed by Palestinian people) and for so long immobilised by the Israeli forces. Obviously the approval and creation of a second Palestinian phone network it is under a blackmail by the Israelis, not only, if they can't proceed with the project within this year, the PA risks to pay a heavy fine of about 300 millions us dollars, that would finally damage the already disaster finance of the PA. So, as usually, every time the Palestinians are trying to develop their economy and acquire any independence they become blackmailed. Obama make only premises on the peace process and more autonomy for PA, and stress to delay to next year the question on the Goldstone report. So PA it is forced to remain in tune with the US, at least hoping to have the ok for the creation of the phone network. As a non-violent I believe it is a must and a duty to continue to support even more hardly the non-violent struggle of the villagers that, after the violent escalations of the summer (night invasions, arrests, and the killing on 30 September of a 17 years old boy while was leaving his school) need more than ever our support and defence. To across the conflict means to take position and act denouncements making clear the perversion of blackmail mechanism that push civilian as well as PA in a shadow of corruption, only because they resist the Israelis occupation strategies with any non-violent means they have. To start a new internal conflict with frontal accusations from whom, is courageously trying to unveil the political - military - industrial trust in the modern Israel, it seems to me self-injurer . I would see much more useful to spread the knowledge of all the political and economic blackmail, falsities and real fraud that Palestinians are victims.
