Dear Friend, What happens in Jerusalem matters. Its fate will have a decisive impact on the future of both Palestinians and Israelis and by extension, the world. Right now, that future is being shaped by a determined group of extremists, while those pursuing a just and equitable future in the city are being ignored. Our new film, My Neighbourhood, emerged in response to this troubling dynamic, and we're thrilled to announce that it will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. My Neighbourhood focuses on a Palestinian boy, Mohammed El Kurd, who is forced to give up part of his East Jerusalem home to Israeli settlers, and Zvi Benninga, a Jewish Israeli from West Jerusalem who joins Mohammed and other residents in a campaign to stop the evictions. We created this film because Jerusalem's future is being determined right now, quietly, but with potentially irreversible consequences. Given the urgency, we need to stand by those who are working toward a Jerusalem where all residents live in freedom, security and peace. Visit the newly launched My Neighbourhood website and watch the trailer here. Then, help us spread the message by sharing it with friends and family via email, Facebook and Twitter. Together, we need to keep our focus -- and that of our communities -- on this beloved and beleaguered city. With appreciation, Ronit Avni Founder & Executive Director, Just Vision PS - We'll be in touch soon with information about how you can see My Neighbourhood and use it to bring attention to this crucial issue in your community. For now, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution towards our outreach campaign and help ensure that we can reach as wide an audience as possible with this new film.
