•                More than 531 Palestinian villages were destroyed making Palestinians the largest refugee population in the world for the longest time in recent history.
Palestinians are now living in 18% of their historic homeland. Israel is trying to steal 50% of this through settlements and building of the apartheid style separation wall.

•                Since Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories, they have implemented an apartheid and racist system of administration of the territories, violating countless international laws.

•                The state of Israel commits war crimes and tramples over human rights, destroying Palestinian cities, towns and villages; expropriating land, detaining and executing without trial, conducting mass demolitions of houses, businesses, and public institutions; looting, closure, curfew, torture, prevention of medical care, construction and expansion of settlements - all these actions are opposed to human morality, and violate international treaties ratified by Israel.

•                Israel "the only democracy in the middle east" is detaining as many as 11,500 Palestinian political prisoners including 40 democratically elected MPs among them the speaker of the Legislative Council.

•                Israel is the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons, and it refuses to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and bars international inspectors from its sites.

•                There are 585 Israeli checkpoints in the West Bank. These road blocks divide the West Bank into 300 separate clusters and make every day travel a long ordeal.

•                Israel receives approximately $5 billion in aid from the U.S.A. each year and encouraged to ignore the international law by many USA vetoes.

•                In 1982, more than 2,750 Palestinians in the refugee camps of Sabra and Chatila. Were massacred. The UN concluded it was an act of Genocide. Thirty eight more massacres were committed by Israel including Deir Yasin, Tantoora, Qibia, Qana in Lebanon and Bahr Al-Baqar in Egypt. Many of Israel's Ministers and Prime Ministers took part in these massacres.

•                Since the fair and transparent democratic elections in Palestine in January 2006, Israel imposes a tight siege on Gaza as a collective punishment of the Palestinians for their choice. Crossings in and out of Gaza are closed resulting in severe shortage of fuel, food and medical supplies in unprecedented humanitarian crises.

•                The latest massacre in Gaza has resulted in over 1400 killed, 450 of the children, and more than 6000 injured. In many cases the entire family were bombed to death under the rubble.
